I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Community Engagement at Exmouth Market 24/10/2025.
On Friday 24TH October 2025, your local Clerkenwell Safer Neighbourhood Team spoke with local businesses in Exmouth Market about the latest issues affecting your community. Including an increase in distraction theft of personal property, commercial burglary, charity representatives and ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour). However, local businesses have noticed a decrease in crime incidents 60% since SNT have increased foot patrols in the area. This has made local residents feel listened to as police take positive action to tackle crime and disorder.
If you are experiencing any antisocial behaviour or have any other concerns, do reach out to us! First report the incident online or call 101 (999 if it is an emergency).
Thank you, Exmouth Market, for taking the time out of your busy schedule today to speak with your local SNT about recent activities in your area. Your local SNT will now take positive action to address your local concerns and keep you updated on our progress.
